The Heat Pump Process
Absorb Heat
The outdoor unit absorbs heat from the air using a refrigerant fluid, even in sub-zero temperatures.
Compress
A compressor raises the temperature of the refrigerant, concentrating the heat energy.
Transfer
Heat is transferred to your home's water circuit via a heat exchanger, warming radiators and hot water.
Distribute
The heated water circulates through your existing radiators, underfloor heating or hot water cylinder.
